This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Don't worry, anyone who bothers to follow my art. I'm certainly not giving up on drawing Phantom of the Opera stuff, but I feel very expansive this year in the way of other fan-doms and books and my own inventions, so here's a heads-up that I'll likely be branching out. You know what I need for Phantom of the Opera? A good pose, which of course, I can't think of a nice menacing one...my muse has abandoned me... sniff. I feel slightly burnt out on Phantom at the moment; I've read all the decent fan fiction, which isn't much, and stared at all the good art. I want to do something original with him which is proving a challenge. Cheers.
I forgot to comment? Rats, 'cause your Snape-reading is one of my all-time favorite cartoon interpretations of him. No problem at all, on the contrary, quite a pleasure to favorite it.

Hey. I just wanted to stop by and ask if you were following the plush project, since I know how you love the Leroux incarnation of Erik. (Not only that, but I was looking at the masked pictures of the plush and it occurred to me that the mask they created looks a lot like your Leroux version in your comic where ALW Erik meets Leroux Erik, so I thought of you. How have you been? Long time, no message....

I sound my barbaric yawp over the roofs of the world~ Walt Whitman
Hey, yeah, it has been a long time. Real life has demanded my attention for some time now. I get a breather once in a while. Work is persistent indeed, but I'm doing quite well, other than losing my Phantom muse. I have followed the project; it looks quite fine, though I probably won't be getting one myself (I'm not a very big fan of collecting stuffed things, and my Phantom fan-ness doesn't quite extend as far as real money. I do like the looks of it though. Nice to know that someone out there is spreading the Leroux-love. How are you doing? Written any new good fan fiction?

Ah, I was just telling you about my new fanfiction in your "I lost my muse" journal entry. I've written LOTS of short stories since my long sequel, but my most enjoyable current venture is The Real Don Juan Triumphant [link] which puts forth the theory that Erik really WAS a "bit of a Don Juan" as he told Christine and that the vast majority of everything else Leroux told us was part of a very elaborate scheme of lies. But of course... it's comedy. I've never had anyone laugh at me in a GOOD way before, but a lot of folks really do like this piece, so I guess I'm pretty proud of it. It's also almost finished, so there's very little chance of having to wait suspensefully for the next portion.
If you find some time to check it out, I'd love to hear your thoughts. More importantly, I'd love to see if it sparks any hysterical art....

"I took an inventory on my life: I was 17, I had no formal education, no job training, no money, no furniture, no friends. "It could be worse," I told myself, "I could be going to a prom.""
